Kalya is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning healthy, well and able.

Kalya Yoga is a uniquely challenging style of Power Vinyasa Flow developed by Liza DiGaetano (E-RYT 500). Each class is dictated by powerful, evenly metered, ujjai breathing that creates flowing interconnected movement. Kalya Yoga classes use the ujjai breath in accordance with creative, gymnastic Ashtanga based vinyasas in a manner that creates inner exploration. Each class is designed to challenge the resistance of your mind and to push beyond fear allowing the divine being that exists within all of us to shine through. This is not your average yoga class; be prepared to be inspired..

Asana practice lengthens and tones muscles, opens up the joints of the body and removes toxins from within the body. Asanas lengthen muscles, loosen joints and create strength while the breath brings calm and focus. This process relieves the burden of the impatient monkey mind and brings peace to your inner being. Asana practice improves circulation and soothes the nervous system; therefore cleansing and improving all of the bodily organs and systems which leads to optimal health and wellbeing.
